Cabernet Sauvignon 169

Cabernet Sauvignon 169

Cabernet Sauvignon 169 is a French clone that arrived at UC Davis in 1997.  Since its release in 2003. vines have been widely planted in the Napa Valley region. The grapes produce a deeply colored wine with complexity and structure. It has a bold and lingering mouth feel with a well-balanced acid to sugar ratio. Our Cabernet Sauvignon 169 was aged in American oak for 16 months.

This wine exhibits aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry and blackberry with a hint of violets and spice. It may be paired with roasted, grilled, or barbequed chicken, beef, and lamb. It is perfect for dinners with family and friends.
